Basic Oat Bran Muffins

Ingredients
2 1/1 cup oat flour1/2 cup whole wheat flour1 1/2 t. gr. cinnamon1/2 t. nutmeg1 T. baking power3 T. brown sugar2 T. chopped almonds3 egg whites1 1/4 c. nonfat milk2/3 c. unsweetened applesauce1 apple, cored and diced1 T. Safflower oil2 t. vanilla
Directions
Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet and fruit. Add to dry & mix.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Fill regular-size, paper-lined muffin tins. Lower to 400 degrees when bake muffins.
