Ingredients
1 box - Jiffy Pie Crust Mix3lbs - Gala Apples4tsp - Margarine stick1tsp - Ground Cinnamon1/4tsp - Ground Nutmeg12tsp (1/4 cup) - Splenda Brown Sugar1/4oz - Lemon juiceTopping:No Calorie Sweetener & Ground Cinnamon mixed together
Directions
Take the apples and cut them into slices (we like to cut them vertically after quartering the apple). Once done take and cover with lemon juice to help keep the apples from browning while preparing the crust. Take the sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and mix together in a separate bowl.
Next make the mix and then divide it in half so you have a bottom and a top. Then roll out one for the bottom and put it in the bottom of the pan. Next take the apples and put into the crust. Now take and cover the apples with the sugar, nutmeg & cinnamon mix. Then cut slivers of maragine and place ontop of that. Finally take the other half of the pie crust and roll it out and put it ontop of the pie. Once you have the top crust on cut designs or whole into it to decorate and allow the apples to get heat while baking.
Then put into the oven and cook at 425 for 45 minutes or top crust is golden brown. Once it is done remove from oven and sprinkle with the Cinnamon and sugar mix while the crust is still hot so that it sticks.
