Ingredients
1 lb extra lean ground beef (16 oz is 1 lb)1 egg1/4 cup breadcrumbs 1/3 cup long grain rice (uncooked)680 ml pasta sauce (2.5 cups)1/2 cup of watergarlic salt (to taste)pepper
Directions
mix ground beef, egg, bradcrumbs, rice, garlic salt and pepper with a fork until combined. Roll into 24 1" meatballs. Combine water and pasta sauce in a shallow baking dish (a lazagna pan works well) and arrange meatballs in the sauce - carefull not to overcrowd as they do expand. Cook covered for about 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
