Ingredients
Directions
1/2 c. whole wheat old-fashioned oatmeal4 tsp. brown sugar1 tsp. white sugar (you can also use splenda)1/4 c. frozen blueberries1/4 c. boiling hot water (I usually boil 1 or 2 cups at a time and then add to my taste to the oatmeal)
Boil about 2 cups of water, either in a teapot, cooking in the microwave, or in a saucepan on the stovetop. While it's boiling, combine oatmeal, brown sugar and white sugar in a bowl. Add 1/2 the amount of blueberries on top.
When the water is done boiling, pour it slowly over your oatmeal mixture and stir. You don't want to add too much water, or your breakfast will be very watery and gross. You want a thick consistency.
Serving Size: Makes enough oatmeal for one person
