1 potato peeled and diced3-4 garlic cloves1/3 C butter, soft1 tsp salt1/4 tsp pepper2 C flour3 tsp baking powder1.3 C milk
place potato and garlic in a saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until potato is tender. Drain. Add butter, salt and pepper to potato and garlic; mach. In a large bowl, combine flour and baking powder; sitr in potato mixture until crumbly. Add milk and stir well.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with a floured 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Serve warm.
