Ingredients
*Pink Salmon, Chicken of the Sea, skinless/boneless- Pouch, 2 oz (whole package)Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), 1/4 cup*Ian's Whole Wheat Breadcrumbs, 2 TablespoonsGarlic, 1 clove(crushed and minced)Complete Seasoning, 1/4 tspPepper, black, 1 dashOnions, raw, 1/4 cup, choppedOlive Oil, 3 tbsp
Directions
Mix all ingredients except the olive oil. Separate the mixture into 3 sections. Roll into balls and flatten lightly into patties. Make sure to use a good quality pan. Preferably non-stick. Add the olive oil to the pan. Slowly heat up the olive oil then add the salmon patties. Should be on medium high. Important! Do not leave the food unattended. Olive oil burns easily and so does garlic. Ok, so wait till it browns on one side, then lower heat a bit and flip. **Important tip: Use two spatulas on the first flip.*** The mixture is soft and the first flip is not easy. Brown the other side then turn the heat down to about medium low and put a lid on the pan. Cook for about 3 minutes then flip again and put lid back on. Lower heat again (if necessary). Cook another 3 minutes then remove patties. Place on plate with paper towel to remove excess oil. Now serve. The outside should be crispy while the inside is moist and delicious.
