Beef Cabbage Bake

Ingredients
3/4 lb. Extra Lean Ground Beef4 C. finely shredded cabbage1/2 uncooked brown rice1 1/3 C. boiling salted water1 medium onion, chopped1 TBS. unsalted butter1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1/8 tsp. black pepper1/2 tsp. salt16 oz. Italian cooking sauce or spaghetti sauce
Directions
Cook rice according to package instructions, about 25 minutes. Drain if necessary.
In a medium skillet, melt butter; add onion and saute until tender. Add beef. Cook until no longer pink, breaking into small pieces as it browns.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Add rice and mix well.
In a 2 qt. sprayed casserole dish, layer half the cabbage. Add beef mixture, pressing down. Add remaining cabbage. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper if desired. Press down. Pour sauce over top.
Cover, baking for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
