Pineapple Squares

Ingredients
Bottom layer:1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened1/2 cup white sugar11/2 cups flour1 tsp. baking powder1/4 tsp. salt1 14¬oz. can pineapple, drainedTop layer:2 large eggs1 cup white sugar1 cup shredded coconut1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Directions
For bottom layer, mix all ingredients, press firmly into ungreased 9¬inch pan. Scatter pineapple over the top as evenly as possible. For the top layer, beat the eggs in small bowl, beat in sugar and stir in coconut and butter. Spread over the pineapple.

Bake at 350 F
30 to ¬40 minutes. Cut while warm.
