Southern Chili

Ingredients
1.5 Pounds lean ground beef1 onion, chopped1 green bell pepper, chopped14.5 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained8 oz tomato sauce15.5 oz can kidney beans, undrained2 t chili powder1 t cajun seasoningOptional:1 C shredded cheddar1 c sour cream3 green onions, chopped
Directions
in a large skillet,brown beef and drain well. Add onion and pepper; saute until tender. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili powder and cajun seasoning. Simmer 2 hours. Garnish with cheese, sour cream and onions.
