Slow Cooker Coq Au Vin Stew

Ingredients
3 LBS skinned chicken thighs1 envelope lipton's beefy onion soup mix1 package frozen petit whole onion2 cups button or wild mushrooms, quartered1/2 cup dry red wine
Directions
lightly coat large skillet with non stick cooking spray, heat over medium heat, cook chicken thighs until brown. place in slow cooker
sprinkle chicken with soup mix, add onions and mushrooms, pour wine over everything
cover and cook on low for 5-6 hrs or high for 2 1/2- 3 hours.
remove chicken and use a fork to chicken from bone. cut or shred into bite size pieces. return chicken to cooker.
Serve!
