Crunchy low-fat Vanilla Granola

Ingredients
8 cups whole rolled oats1 1/2 cups sliced almonds1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar1/2 cup water1 teaspoon salt4 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 275.
In a large mixing bowl combine oats and sliced almonds. Set aside.
In a 2qt microwave safe bowl, cook brown sugar and water for 5 minutes. Add salt and vanilla.
Pour vanilla sugar mixture over oats and almonds, stir well to combine.
Spread granola mixture over baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake for 45 - 60 minutes stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and enjoy!!
