Slow Cooker Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
1.25 lb. Ground Turkey1 cup Onion, diced1 tsp. Granulated Garlic1/4 tsp. Ground Black Pepper3/4 tsp. Iodized Salt1 Tbsp. The Spice Hunter Chef's Shake Seasoning Blend1 (8.8 oz.) Whole Grain Brown Fast Rice, cooked1/2 cup Plain Breadcumbs1 large Egg, beaten4 large Bell PeppersSauce:1 (28 oz.) can Crushed Tomatoes w/Roasted Garlic and Olive Oil1/2 cup Chicken Broth1 Tbsp. Granulated Sugar1 tsp. The Spice Hunter Chef's Shake Seasoning Blend1/2 tsp. Cayenne PepperGarnish:1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine first 9 ingredients and mix evenly. Stuff each pepper with 1/4 of the turkey mixture and set aside. In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, broth, sugar, seasoning blend and cayenne pepper. Pour half of the sauce over the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker stoneware. Place 4 prepared peppers over sauce. Cover with remaining sauce. Cook on HIGH heat for 4 hours, or until the internal temperature of the stuffed peppers reaches 165 degrees F. Sprinkle with grated cheese before serving.
