Quick and filling- used a 3oz can of tuna that came out a little runny with half an egg. I didn't have sour cream at hand- substituted with a touch of hellman's light mayo and had on bed of mixed greens. - 4/18/10

I only had a 5oz can of chunk white, so with a whole egg it came out a little bit runny. It was good served over a bed of spinach with basalmic dressing. - 3/5/09

I used frozen tuna that I baked with garlic and the dill. I then shredded the tuna, added the garlic clove (diced), a little grated parmigiana cheese, salt and pepper and egg. I used reduced fat sour cream and added a tomato slice and half an avocado like mentioned by another user. Very tasty. - 8/6/08

I added about 5T crumbled pork rinds to 5 oz tuna to firm it up, a large egg, and added parmesean cheese as seems popular here, along with 1t of garlic powder. Not runny at all, and had good flavor. Served topped with tomato slices. I estimate less than 3 carbs for the whole works. - 2/21/13

I've not tried making tuna patties since I've cut my carbs. Thank you for giving me this idea. I know the additive of choice then was mustard. Maybe I'll change that up now! I know bread is great in it, but the point is that it's for people with low carb diets. Bothers me when people post this. - 2/8/13

Thanks so much!!! I took the advice of others and added cheese (a little mexican blend) with 2T. of Bread Crumbs and I dusted it with some all purpose flour and fried. I didn't use Tuna, but a 5 oz can of Salmon and it wasn't runny at all, so the canned tuna should be doubled so it won't be runny. - 7/8/12

I made this for my lunch today and I think I found a new weekly favorite. I added a little parmesan and about 2tbsp bread crumbs because it was a little too loose. I used some veggie dip i had in the fridge and 1 medium tomato. MMM yummm. Added a little dill to the patties while cooking. Thank u! - 7/28/11

This is amazing and a keeper! I didn't have dill but I used Tarragon, and added a little onion. - 10/15/10

I changed the recipe a small bit, added onion, ritz crackers, and a low carb vanilla yogurt - was a little higher in carbs but was AWSOME! Didn't have some ingredients. I always hated fish cakes but these are very, very, VERY good! - 7/27/10

The original recipe was very good but in order to add flavor I mixed in a spice combo called "Slap Your Mama" prior to cooking the patty. Afterwards I topped it with a little cheddar cheese. It was delicious! - 7/23/10

This looks delicious. I love tuna and would love to make my own low-carb patties. I would make a few alternations with the mixture ingredients but would definitely try it soon. - 7/2/08
