Top notch Bran Muffins

Ingredients
flourwheat bransugarcinnamonbaking powdersalt skim milkmolassess or honeyvegetable oil or applesauceegg whitesraisins or blueberries
Directions
heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 12 muffin cups with no-stick spray or line with paper baking cups. Combine dry ingredients, mix well. Add combined milk, molasses (or honey), oil (or applesauce) and egg whites. Mix just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in raisins (or blueberries). Fill prepared muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 20-22 minutes or until golden brown.
For banana bran muffins: Omit raisins, reduce milk to 2/3 cup. Substitute 1 cup mashed ripe banana for raisins.
