Sweet Chick and Shrooms Curry Soup

16oz dried Chick Peas, soaked overnight2 Sweet Potatoes; skinned and cubed6 cups chicken broth (no salt added, fat skimmed)16 oz package baby portobello mushrooms, cut into chunks3 T curry powder1 T black pepper2 t turmeric2 T garlic powder1 T onion powder
Combine everything but mushroom and cook on low till potatoes are tender (or high if using crock pot). Blend together with hand blender to make creamy sauce. Add in mushrooms and continue cooking till tender.
