Paula Dean's Pepper Steak (slighty revised)

1 1/2 lbs round steakA sprinkle of paprika2 TBP buttergarlic salt to tasteOne 10.5 ounce can beef broth1 large onion1.5 large yellow, orange, red, or green pepper2 TBP cornstarch1/4 cup water1/4 soy sauce
Melt butter in wok. Sprinkle meat w/paprika, then brown in wok. Add garlic salt & beef broth. Cover & simmer for 30 minutes. Cut onion & pepper in strips. Add to meat and simmer for 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch, water & soy sauce and then add to meat mixture. Simmer until sauce thickens. Serve over rice.
