Ingredients
1 Lb Pinto Beans picked through for rocks washed then soak for 1 -2 hrs with 1 Tbsp baking soda1 cup lean Ham Chopped1 Medium Onion diced1 Cup diced Celery2 Smoked Ham Hocks (yield around 6 oz meat) discard bone skin and fat2 tsp Salt2 tsp Pepper Black
Directions
After beans have soaked in Baking Soda Water for 1 -2 hrs drain and rinse.
1) Add all ingredients to Crock Pot cover and cook on high for 6-7 hrs. remove Hocks and separate meat from skin fat and bones discard skin fat and bones.
2) Serve over corn bread muffins
