Ingredients
Directions
4 oz of Philadelphia regular cream cheese 1 lb of ground sausage ( I like mild jimmy dean but you can choose any flovor to suite your taste.)4 medium sized red tomatoes (make sure they are firm)
(makes four stuffed tomatos)
*Preheat oven to 350 degrees
*Brown sausage in a pan (as you would hamburger for tacos)
*While thats cooking Cut the tops off of tomatos and scoop out the insides ( like a pumpkin for halloween)
*When sausage is done cooking, drain off grease add to a mixing bowl. Combine cream cheese and sausage (you can soften cream cheese in microwave beforehand if needed) completely combined
*Spoon Cream cheese and sausage mixture evenly into tomatoes
*place on baking pan and heat in oven about 10-15 minutes (I do about 12 so the tomatoes don't get to soft)
Tip- You can add a little shredded mozzerella on top before cooking if you like
