Treebeard's Jalapeno Cornbread

Ingredients
5 1/2 tsps baking powder1 tsp salt 1/2 cup vegetable oil5 cups cheddar cheese (grated/shredded)5 cups yellow cornmeal (stone ground)1 1/2 cups corn (creamed)1/2 cup onions (chopped)1/2 cup jalapeno pepper (chopped/sliced)6 tbsps sugar 2 beaten eggs 2 1/2 cups milk
Directions
*Preheat oven to 350.
*Spray 9 x 13 inch cake pan with non-stick spray.
*In a large mixing bowl, combine baking powder, salt and vegetable oil. Stir until mixed. Add remaining ingredients, adding milk last. Mix completely and then pour batter into the prepared cake pan.
*Bake for 45-50 minutes or until cornbread is done.
