Lentil Winter Soup

Ingredients
1 small onion1 cup celery, diced1-1/2 cups raw peeled yam, cubed4 cups chopped kale1 cup uncooked lentils1-1/2 cups Imagine vegetable broth2-3 tablespoons Enova oil1 teaspoon garam masala powder (Indian seasoning)salt, to tastewater, to fill crock pot
Directions
Place all ingredients in a one-quart crock pot, add water until pot is full, and cover. Place on "high" for four hours. After four hours, blend with stick blender until nearly pureed. May continue cooking on medium until ready to serve.
