Ingredients
1/2 C. Egg Substitute1 3/4 C. Skim Milk1/4 C. Canola Oil1/4 C. Unsweetened Applesauce1 tsp. Vanilla Extract1 1/4 C. Whole Wheat Pastry Flour1/2 C. Flax Seed Meal1/4 C. Wheat Germ4 tsp. Baking Powder1 Tbsp. Splenda1/4 tsp. Salt
Directions
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg substitute, milk, oil, applesauce, & vanilla. Beat in whole wheat pastry flour, flax seed meal, wheat germ, baking powder, Splenda, & salt until batter is smooth.
2. Preheat a waffle iron, & coat with cooking spray. Pour batter into waffle iron in batches, & cook until crisp & golden brown.
