A frozen banana would make it thicker, I would skip the honey and add stevia - 8/22/12

I think using FAGE nonfat plain Greek yogurt instead of Cottage Cheese would be pretty good. :-) - 9/13/12

Oooo! Never thought of adding cottage cheese to a smoothie! Do you think almond milk would taste ok instead of milk? - 9/10/12

I see no reason to use the honey or really any kind of sweetner. With fruit, who really needs it. - 11/8/12

This was very good. Loved the texture. My extened family are blueberry farmers and I have a lot of frozen in the freezer. Great application for these. I did freeze the banana ahead of time. I only put half of the honey and it was plenty sweet enough. - 9/27/12

I always add a scoop of protein powder to any smoothies I make so there is a better balance of carbs and protein. Doesn't change the taste. - 9/10/12

to cut down on cottage cheese taste, use half cottage cheese, half Greek yogurt and cut back on milk as it would get too watery... would use frozen banana and sweetener instead of honey and add ground flax seed for nutritional benefits - 4/15/21
