Shrimp & Green Bean Salad

Ingredients
1 lb. shrimp, peeled1 1/2 c green beans, steamed1/2 c almonds (I use whole)6 sliced bacon, cooked & crumbled2/3 c parmesan cheeseBalsamic vinaigrette:1/2 c balsamic vinegar1/2 c fresh basil, chopped1 T brown sugar3 cloves garlic, minced4 shallots, minced1 t pepper1/2 t salt1 c EVOO
Directions
Make dressing first by mixing first 7 ingredients well, then slowly adding EVOO.

Put raw shrimp in lg ziploc bag with 1/2 of balsamic vinaigrette and let marinate for 15 minutes. (This is a good time to steam green beans and cook bacon.) Then cook shrimp on grill or in frying pan til pink.

Combine shrimp, green beans, bacon, almonds, and parmesan in large bowl and toss with dressing. Can be served warm or cold.
