Ingredients
Lipton Onion Soup Mix dry, 8 tbspLentils, 2 tbspBarley, pearled, raw, 25 gramsBlack-eyed peas (cowpeas), immature seeds, cooked, boiled, drained, without salt, 1 Can 10 - 16 0z Onions, raw, .5 cup, choppedCelery, raw, .5 cup, dicedGarlic, 1 clove*Cumin seed,ground .25 tbspTurmeric, ground, .5 tspBay Leaf, 3 servingMushrooms, fresh, .5 cup, pieces or slicesMixed Vegetables Frozen Publix 1lb pack, 1.33 cup*Potato, raw, 1 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.)water 3 cups
Directions
place water in crock pot and soup mix
add seasonings onion, mushrooms , peas, celery, garlic, potato ( red if possible )
let cook about 1 hour before serving add frozen vegtables
