Shrimp Florentine Pasta

8 oz uncooked fettuccine2 Tbs butter1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined1 Tbs chopped garlic1 tsp crushed red pepper1 Tbs fresh lemon juice1/2 tsp salt1/2 black pepper1 (10 oz) package fresh babby spinach
Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain well; set aside, and keep warm.
Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, garlic, and crushed red pepper; cook 4 minutes or until shrimp are done, stirring occasionally.
Add cooked pasta, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and spinach; cook for 3 minutes or until spinach starts to wilt, stirring to combine.
Serve immediately.

It's interesting that SP calculates the calories as being less than the magazine does. (by 30 so it's not a huge deal) I add bout a cup of chopped mushrooms and a can of diced tomatoes (Drained so it's not too soupy) It's a great dish, I love it! - 7/11/12

I've added your suggestions and started making it without the pasta. I love this dish!
