Slow Cooker Turkey Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
2 slices white sandwich bread, torn into pieces1/4 c whole milk2 lbs, leanest ground turkeySalt & Pepper2 Tbsp vegetable Oil2 onions, minced4 cloves garlic, minced1 tsp chili powder1 (15oz) can tomato sauce1 cup ketchup2 tsp brown sugar, packed1 tsp hot sauce
Directions
1. Mash bread and milk together into a paste. Mix in turkey, salt and pepper using hands.
2. Heat oil in large skillet until shimmering. Add onions, garlic, and chili powder and cook until onions soft and slightly browned.
3. Stir in turkey mixture and cook, breaking up any large pieces, until no longer pink. Stir in one cup tomato sauce and scrape up any brown bits; transfer to slow cooker
4. Stir in remaining tomato sauce, ketchup, sugar, and hot sauce into slow cooker. Cover and cook until turkey is tender, 6-8 hrs low or 3-5 on high.
5. Let meat settle 5 minutes then remove fat from surface.

Serve mixture on buns of your choice
