Ingredients
9 lb pork shoulder picnic roast1 packet Lipton onion soup mix, dry2 cups water1 medium head green cabbage, chopped3 medium carrots, peeled and sliced1 green apple, cored and diced6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced1 red onion, diced
Directions
start with pork roast, water and soup mix in the slow cooker on high for about 6 hours. Once meat is cooked through, remove and add the other ingredients. Cook on high for at least 2 more hours or until cooked.

Serving Size: 36- 4 oz servings of meat with about 1 cup veggies

    .Easy, Fast and delicious. The only thing I did different was put the veggies in for 30 minutes then I took the meat out removed all the fat then put it back in with the vegetables. A keeper! - 6/27/13

    I browned my roast & sauteed the onions with the roast. This carmilized the onions & gave me scrapings which I made a broth out of & added to the onion soup mix & water.
