1 head cauliflower large, quartered1 medium onion, diced1 large potato, quartered2 cloves garlic, minced2 tsp ginger root, mincedsaltblack pepperturmericgharam masala (cumin and corriander powder) optional
In pan add canola oil
add garlic and saute until pink
add ginger root and onion
cook until golden brown
add cauliflower and potato pieces
add salt, pepper, turmeric, gharam masala to taste
add 2 tbsp water
cover and let steam for 15-20 minutes
stir occasionally, cook until potato and cauliflower are tender.
Serving Size: makes 6 1- cup servings
