homemade red kidney beans

Ingredients
4 slices of crisp bacon .25cup of malt or cider vinegar 1 onion (chopped) .5 cup ketchup 2 tsp. mustard .25 cup molasses 1 cup brown sugar 9 cups cooked kidney beans water reserved from soaking beans overnight
Directions
mix first 7 ingredients in bottom of slow cooker. Add beans and enough reserved water to cover beans . Add more water if needed . Cook on high setting for 6 hours and 1 hour on low.
