Gluten free Pasta with lentils, spinach and leeks

8oz lentils2 garlic cloves1 dried bay leaf8 oz gluten free penne1 tbsp olive oil7 oz leeks white and pale green parts only, slived into 1/4 inch rounds, washed well and drained1 tsp chopped fresh thymecoarse salt and prepper7 oz spinach
cook lentils, 1 clove garlic, bay leaf cook 20 25 min. drain and discard garlic and bay leaf
cook pasta according to instructions, save 3/4 cup liquid
mince remaining garlic, saute, glarlic, leeks, and thyme, cook about 5 min. add salt and pepper.
add spinach and served past cooking liquid to pan , cook, tossing to wilt spinach,a bout 2 minutes. pour mixture over past and toss to combine. Serve immediatley,
