Quick and Easy Tomato Soup

Ingredients
1 cup yellow onions 1 teaspoon olive oil28 ounces tomatoes (any kind)1 can tomatoes with diced chiles 2 teaspoons hot sauce (optional)1 tablespoon sour cream for each serving (optional)
Directions
Cook onions in olive oil then puree them with hot sauce. Put tomatoes and onion puree into 3 quart pot and cook for 90 minutes on medium to low heat. Cook times may vary with stove settings. Garnish with sour cream.
