Cherry Currant Sauce

Ingredients
Sweet Cherries, 2 cup, without pits currants, 2 cup Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped Sherry, dry, 1 fl. oz Ground cumin, .5 tsp
Directions
Wash fruit
Remove stems
Remove pits from cherries
Sauté onion
Add fruit
Cook until fruit is somewhat softened
Add sherry
Add cumin and any other seasoning
Stir and continue to cook until slightly thickened
