Cornmeal Muffins

Ingredients
1C Cornmeal1C Flour1/3C Sugar4 tsp Baking Powder1 Egg1/4C Shortening (room temperature)1 and 1/4 C Milk (non-fat)
Directions
Preheat oven to 425

1. Mix all dry ingredients together.
2. Add liquid ingredients. Mix, but do not over mix.
3. Pour into a greased and floured muffin pan
4. Bake for 20 minutes

Makes 12 muffins.
