Kathy's homemade white bread

Ingredients
5 1/2 to 7 cups of flour 2 packets of Dry Yeast (any brand)Mix togetherheat on low heat:2 cups milk (I use skim)1/2 cup butter (may use shortening or lard)2 to 3 tablespoons sugar ( 6 to 9 teaspoons)2 to 3 teaspoons of saltto about 85 degrees just warm and pour into flour/yeast mixture and mix while adding a little flour at a time until you can pour it onto a floured board and work in the amount of flour needed until it is not sticking to fingers. Put in buttered bowl and let raise to double size. then cut into 2 loaves let raise in pan
Directions
preheat oven to 350 degrees

bake 50 to 70 minutes until golden brown
