Wylers Beef Barley Vegetable Soup with Cabbage

1 pound beef, cubed10 cups water16 oz can of tomatoes3/4 cup chopped onions8 cubes of beef bouillon 1 tsp basil leaves1 bay leaf1/2 cup barley1 1/2 cups chopped carrots1 1/2 cups chopped celery2 cups chopped cabbage
Spray large kettle with cooking spray and cook onions and beef cubes until browned. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for about 45 minutes.
