Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1/3 cup Earth Balance2/5 cup sugar1 tsp molasses1 tsp vanilla5/6 cup flour1/3 tsp baking soda1/3 tsp salt1/2 cup semisweet chocoalte chips (A chocolate bar chopped into chunks is used in the recipe calculation)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.

Cream margarine / Earth Balance and sugar until fluffy. Add the molasses and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, and salt). Fold in the choclate chips / chunks.

Cool in the refrigerator ~15 minutes.

Drop by the spoonful onto an ungreased cookie cheet, ~3x4 (or two 2x3 sheets). Bake 8-10 minutes or until ever so slightly browned.

Let cool on the sheet ~5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

    Are measurements correct for sugar (2/5 cup) and flour (5/6 cup) correct? Other than this, the recipe looks amazing. - 4/7/13

    For better or for worse they are; I cut the original recipe to 1/3 to get these measurements (as I didn't need 36 cookies), ... 36 cookies = 1c. margarine, 1.25c. sugar, 1 Tbsp molases, 2tsp vanilla, 2.5c flour, 1tsp bk soda, 1tsp salt, 1.5c chips. So, sugar for 12: a bit less than 1/2 cup
