Brown Rice/ Red Lentil Dosa

Ingredients
1.5 cups shortgrain brown rice.75 cups red lentils2 t saltwater
Directions
put lentils and rice in the blender. cover with water to the 5 cup line. leave on the counter over night. In the morning blend to a batter.

The batter will be slightly gritty but this is ok.

Split the batter between 2 mason jars and leave uncovered on the counter for a 2-4 hours. The batter will grow a bit and become frothy. If your home is not warm you may want to warm the stove to 100 degrees and place the jars in the oven after turning the oven off.

Cover and refrigerate one jar for later use.

Add 1 teaspoon salt to the jar you want to use and stir gently. Spoon on to a hot griddle to make thin crepes about 6 inches in diameter. For instructions on how to cook a dosa please see you tube video under tips
