Braised Beef for Tortillas

Ingredients
680g or 1-1/2 lb beef tip (or stewing steak)2 cloves garlic2 tbsp lime juiceDash salt and pepper to taste100g or 3/4 cup chopped onion150g or 1 cup chopped carrots1 tsp marjoram400g or 10.5oz chopped tomatoes1 beef bouillon cube
Directions
Rub the garlic into the beef, along with the salt and pepper.
Sprinkle the lime juice over the meat.
If you wish, you can leave this to marinate overnight.
Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on LOW for 8 - 10 hours.
Using two forks shred the meat. You may wish to thicken the sauce or to remove some of the liquid (either by straining or boiling it away).
Serve with warm tortillas, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, cheese, salsa or other extras of your choice. Don't forget to add the extra calories from these to your tracker.
