Date, fig and walnut cake

Ingredients
Dates, 1 cup, pitted, chopped (remove) Figs, dried, 1 cup (remove) *Flour, white, 1.5 cup (remove) Butter, salted, 60 grams (remove) Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed (remove) *Bicarbonate of Soda, .5 tbsp (remove) Walnuts, .5 cup, chopped (remove)1 cup of watermixed spice powderginger powdercinnamon powdervanilla
Directions
1. cut up dates, and figs and add to bowl with sugar, vanilla, bicarb and butter
2. add boiling water and leave for 15 mins
3. sift dry ingredients into bowl and mix
4. bake at 180 degrees for about 40 mins until cooked thorugh
