Beef Barley Soup

Ingredients
1 tbsp Olive Oil 2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery, raw 2 clove Garlic 0.50 cup Barley, pearled, raw 1 serving carrot, 1 raw (7-8" long) 1.50 serving Trader Joe's Premium Black Angus Beef Boneless Rib Eye Steak (1serv=4 oz=113g) 1 serving Vidalia onion, raw 1 medium onion 2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh 8 serving Pacific Natural Foods Beef Broth, 1 cup Sa
Directions
Saute finely chopped garlic, onion, pepper, carrot, mushrooms and celery. Add the can of tomatoes and saute for 10 more minutes. Cut up steak into small pieces and saute in a different pan. Add the steak, beef broth and barley to vegetables. Cook on low until barley is done. Freezes well.
