Ingredients
1 cup red lentils1 cup of onion, chopped2 cloves of garlic, minced2 medium tomatoes, shredded with no skin1 tbsp of ghee1 tsp ground cumin1 tsp ground cinnamon1 tsp ground ginger2 tsp ground turmeric1/2 tsp garam masala1/4 tsp ground red chili powder2 cubes of Maggi chicken stock4 cups of water
Directions
pick over and wash and rinse the red lentils. saute onion and garlic in the ghee. add the shredded tomatoes and the spices, mix. and the lentils. add water. bring to a boil, turn fire to low. cook for 30 minutes.
