So how large are the servings? I see that this says it makes 25 servings and while I'm sure the soup is wonderful I just question the calorie count based on the suggested number of servings... - 4/1/11

Went with the suggested two packs of taco seasoning and it definately had some kick to it!! lol
Really good dish - everyone went back for seconds - I had planned on freezing some but there wasn't any left :)
Thanks for the great recipe! - 9/15/10

I've had this a couple times now (made one big batch and froze some). Very good, I used 1.5 lbs of lean beef, 1 pack of taco seasoning and omit the ranch. I may try 2 packs of taco seasoning next time for a little extra kick. - 1/19/09

Added 2 Tsp of Chili Powder for a little extra kick. Excellent, will make it and eat it again! - 1/31/11

This soup was delicious! The only thing that I changed was that I added diced garlic to the ground beef and a can of water. I think I should have added a couple more cans because it's not very soupy now that I've let it simmer all day. :o) It's perfect over a corn muffin. Thanks for a healthy dish! - 1/17/11

I made this last night because it is getting colder and colder here. It smelled so good. I couldn't resist making a pan of cornbread to go with. My husband wanted to take it to work with him. We use black beans instead of corn. It's a keeper. - 1/11/11
