Directions
Combine the potatoes, garlic, carrots, and chicken broth in a kettle over medium-low heat; simmer, covered, for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk in the flou, salt, and pepper. Slowly whisk in the milk. Cook until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly. Add the flour mixture to the vegetable mixture. Yeild: 6 servings
