1.14 lbs Ground turkey1 c. diced peppers (yellow, green, red)7 oz Corn Salsa Pace Mild Salsa, 16 oz bottle1 can chili beans, low sodium, rinsed1 can Diced Fire Roasted Tomatoes w/garlic1 tbs Mrs Dash Fiesta Lime.5 tbs chili powderOptional toppings:(not listed in the nutrients)fat free shredded cheese-cheddar, whatever you likefat free or low fat sour cream OR plain yogurtsliced black olivesjalapeno peppers (to taste)
Real simple!
1. Pull out your 5 to 6 quart slow-cooker
2. Open the tomatoes, salsas, etc and place into the slow-cooker. Be sure to rinse the beans if you used canned beans.
3. On the stove top, brown the turkey with the diced peppers. Add some Mrs Dash Fiesta Lime and chili seasoning. Also add some into the slow-cooker (to taste).
4. Add the browned turkey to the slow-cooker.
It should top up a 5/6 quart cooker almost up to the lid.
Serving Size: Makes 12 2-cup servings or 8 3-cup servings
