Beef Barley Soup - Crock Pot

Ingredients
1 lb beef stew meat6 slices bacon1 can stewed tomatoes1 can peas4 potatoes, chopped3 stalks celery, chopped12 baby carrots, chopped1 large onion, chopped2 cloves garlic1/4 cup barley4 cups beef broth3 cups water
Directions
Chop all ingredients. Cook bacon and beef with onions and garlic. Drain. Combine everything together with 3 cups water and cook in crock pot until potatoes are cooked through.

    Super tasty and satistying. I added a bit of italian seasoning and pepper. My husband loved it and so did my 6 year old. It makes lots so I had leftovers to freeze too so I have grab & go's. Love it!!! - 9/25/08
