Ingredients

1 large raw Onion 1/2 head red Cabbage (about 5-1/2" dia) 2 cloves Garlic 3 medium slices Bacon1 tsp Pepper, black1/4 tsp Sea salt, 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar1 tbsp Water (59.2 mL)1/2 tsp Chicken Bouillon (with 4 oz. Water)
Chop onion finely
Crush garlic cloves
Place in a pan
Cook onion and garlic over low heat (Do Not Brown)
Chop uncooked bacon into small pieces
Add bacon to pan
Saute gently until onions, garlic and bacon are cooked
Thinly slice cabbage
Add cabbage to pan, stir gently
Add salt and pepper
Add vinegar and water, stir
Add prepared Chicken Bouillon
Cook slowly (low heat) in covered pan, 20-25 mins.
Stir occasionally
Let stand 10-20 mins.
Refrigerate leftovers
