5 Chicken leg quarters2/3 cup flour1/2 tsp. salt1 tsp. pepper1 Tbsp. paprika4 tbsp. margarine1 10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup1 10 oz. can mushrooms, drained1/4 cup white cooking wine35 baby carrots, cut into thin strips (quartered)
Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika in bag. Shake to mix well. Add damp chicken parts. Shake to coat.
Melt butter in frying pan. Add chicken and brown well. Transfer to casserole dish.
Empty soup into pan and add drained mushrooms and wine. Stir well. Pour over chicken and cover. (Save carrots for later).
Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour. cut carrots into thin sticks. Add to chicken (around outside). Continue to cook covered for 15 minutes or until chicken is tender. Serve with rice. Serves 5
