Ham & 15 bean soup

Ingredients
2 cups 15 bean soup mix (no seasoning)ham bone with approx 2 cups ham on.4 celery stalks chopped1 large onion chopped4 carrots, chopped1 can diced tomatoes1 tsp salt1/2 tsp thyme1 tbsp dried parsley10 cups water
Directions
Simmer ham bone in enough water to cover for 4 hrs. Approx. 10 cups. Remove bone and ham, save broth. At the same time ham is cooking soak beans in cold water. After removing ham add beans to broth and bring to a boil. Add all other ingredients to broth, bring to boil. Allow ham to cool and pick separate meat from fat and bone. add back into soup, reduce to simmer, cover and let cook for 3-4 hours until beans are tender.
