Scone - Jennylee's recipe

Ingredients
Directions
1 cup Flour (I use self raising normally and wholemeal)1 tsp bicarb soda (only if using plain flour)1 tblsp butter1 cup skim milk
1. Sift flour with bicarb soda.
2. Rub butter into flour mix until it looks like crumbs.
3. Mix milk into the mix, forming a dough. It is best to have it as "wet" as possible but still be able to knead and roll it so you may need a little extra milk.
Knead the dough then roll it to about half an inch thick. Then using a 2 inch cookie cutter cut out and place on a baking tray. Sometimes I get more than 12. Brush the top with a little extra milk.
Bake at 180 C (350 F) until risen and golden brown.
Serving Size: Makes 12 x 2 inch round pieces
