Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients
1 1/2 C Whole Wheat pastry flour2/3 C sugar1 1/2 t baking powder1/4 t baking soda1/4 t salt3/4 c regular oats1 C chocolate chips1 C mashed ripe banana1/3 C lowfat buttermilk1/4 C vegetable oil1 t vanilla extract2 large eggs, lightly beatencooking spray
Directions
Preheat to 350

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl, stirring well with a whisk. Add the oats and stir.

Combine the mashed banana, buttermilk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs; add to the flour mixture; stir until just moist. Add the chocolate chips and stir until combined

Put into a regular loaf pan, coated with cooking spray, and bake for approximately 1 hour.

Makes 12 servings.
